Is it covered by insurance?
Practitioners run it as a cash-pay service. Medicare and most private insurers do not cover cold laser therapy, so payment is collected at the time of the visit. That keeps billing simple: you are paid the same day of therapy, and the revenue is yours to count on.
I have been told higher wattage is better. How does the PTL PRO compare?
The PTL PRO is a low level laser therapy device that uses two laser diodes that do not heat the tissues and are noninvasive. Higher-powered Class IV lasers work on a completely different principle. They rely on heat and raw power rather than pulsed frequency information. Our advantage is the frequency information we deliver: over 130,000 frequencies across 200+ ready-to-use programs, including both standard Hz frequencies and frequencies matched to specific substances.
How long does it take to learn?

Do I need a special certification to offer it?
